Mr. Gallagher was born in East St. Louis, IL, son of the late John M. and Stella (Walsh) Gallagher. He was a retired Foreman from the Monsanto Chemical Co., Sauget, IL. He was a U.S. Marines Corps. Veteran having served in WW II and the Korean Conflict, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, American Legion Post #581, and 40/8 Voiture #926.
