Mrs. Spurgeon was born in Laurel County, KY, daughter of the late Roscoe and Edith (Miller) Pennington.
She had been an aide with the Columbia Unit District #4, Columbia, IL, and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Columbia, IL.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2006, at the Lawlor Funeral Home in Columbia, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2006, at the First Baptist Church, Columbia, IL.
Interment will be at College Hill Cemetery, Belle, MO.
Memorial Contribtions may be made to the Building Fund at the First Baptist Church, Columbia, IL.

Husband- Roger Spurgeon
Children- Brian (Robin) Spurgeon, and Patricia (Bruce) Stroh
Grandchildren- Reed and Wyatt Spurgeon, and Andrea Stroh
