My condolences to all that had pleasure to know and love BOB. I am proud to say that Bob was my friend from 5th. grade thru high school and college. Bob started working at unit 5 Columbia right out of high-school. Also, Bob attended siu-e while working as most of us did in those days. He was a sincere, hardworking person and avid bowler.
Bob had a severe head injury as the result of a collision with a car while he was riding his bike in grade school. I can honestly say that in spite of his challenges, Bob did the best he could for as long as he could. R.I.P. good and faithful servant. The gates of heaven could not be closed for long if at all for Bob. I'll be listening for your strikes in the skies as the thunder rolls.
We were Seniors with Bob in the class of 1969. We had fun times and lots of laughs.
Bob had a great sense of humor and was kind hearted, outgoing and smart. He will be missed.
