Monietta Irene Cox's Obituary
Monietta Irene Cox, nee Roberts 89 years of Columbia, IL, born September 19, 1929 in Beach Grove, AR., passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Mercy South in St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cox; her father, Paul Roberts; her mother, Sarah Roberts, nee Tucker; her step-Father, B F Palmer; her brother, Cecil Roberts; her sister, Evah Lemmons; her granddaughter, Annette Pratt; her two nieces, Sherry Palmer and Jodi Roberts and her nephew, Randy Lemmons;
Surviving are two sons, Thomas "Sonny" (Karen) Pratt and Laurence (Rene') Cox; four granddaughters, Kendra (Mike) Koonce, Tracy (Steve) Diehl, Blythe (Charles) Beckman and Cailee Cox; 10 great-grandchildren, her sister, Emma Catherine (James) McNabb and her brother, Darrell (Linda) Palmer; along with other relatives and friends.
Monietta's wishes were to be cremated and private family services will be held at Pirtle Cemetery in Peach Orchard, Ar., at a later date.
Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., is assisting the family with arrangements.
