I didn’t get the opportunity to meet my great aunt until I was 18. But for at least 10 years, I had the chance to spend time with her and Uncle Junior, to stay at her house with Joyette and Ginny Roberts, and to enjoy her company. She was warm and loving and a joy to be around. I saw her last at my sweet Mama Joyette’s funeral and it was like a hug from home. Love especially now to Billy and his family. I wish I lived closer and could come join the family for her homegoing celebration.
