Mitchell Ray Cleveland's Obituary
Mitchell Ray Cleveland, 65 years of Cahokia, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at his residence. He was born January 30, 1957, in East St. Louis, IL.
Mitch had worked as a computer tech for US Bank. He enjoyed watching the news, and the reality shows Duck Dynasty, and Life Below Zero. He was a NASCAR fan and some of his favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt Sr., Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Martin Truex Jr. Mitch was a United States Air Force veteran having served 14 years.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Cleveland, his daughter, Jessica (Jacob) Phillips, his son, William (fiancee Amber Mcllvoy) McClure Jr., his grandchildren, Ethan & Hannah Phillips and Kaylynn McClure, his brothers, ID (Barbara) Cleveland and Carl (June) Cleveland, his sisters, Paula (Jon) Beck and Elaine Mueller, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Idus U. and Rosemary, nee Copper, Cleveland and his granddaughter, Aubrey Phillips
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday November 11, 2022, at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., with Rev. Todd Mushaney officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation 6520 North Andrews Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309 , National Kidney Foundation 1001 Craig Road, St. Louis, MO 63146 . Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL.
