It was a great privilege to meet Mitch and Nancy at Optitek, Inc. He was my go to person when I needed more reports from production or when my computer acted up and our technical manager had meetings or nowhere to be found. And, when I left my key to my office, which happened more than once :-).
By his actions, I can tell how devoted of a husband he was to Nancy, a very supportive dad to Jessica and her brother, and a loving grand dad to Jessica's children especially to Sugar Plum.
You will surely be missed, Mitch. Goodbye for now, my friend. Till we see each other again in God's grace.
Eternal rest grant unto Mitch, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Your service does not go unnoticed
Although I have not visited with Mitch in many years he was a fellow classmate in 1975 at DCHS. We both went different directions as life often takes us.
A very gifted mind and always active as he was our Equipment Manager for the DCHS Football Team. As organized as he was we always thought he would own his own sporting goods store someday. Pretty much a quite reserved guy but one you could always count on. He served our country at a time when it wasn't always the popular thing to do. But, it was the right thing to do. This country needs more people just like him.
We are all extremely proud of him. He will be missed. What a great friend to have.
