Dear Weilbacher Family,
Please accept our condolences for Merle,a woman of gentle spirit and great faith. We worked with Art and Merle in the Charismatic Renewal and are greatful for the encouragement and example the gave us. May the Love, Grace and Peace of Jesus be with you always.
It has come full circle. We lived next to Mr Leo & Ms Lee, Arts father & mother.
Worked for Art at the department store ... learned many of life's lessons.
My thoughts and prayers for the family
Dear Weilbacher Family,
You may not remember me, but I am Wilbur Jackson's son. I know for a fact that your Grandpa - Tommie Baum - was my dad's favorite uncle. That made Merle and Alice my Dad's favorite cousins.
Let me express, on behalf of the entire Wilbur Jackson family (Donna, Margy, Bill, Sherry and Dan), our deepest sympathies.
Wherever Merle was there was warmth, acceptance and kindness. I am glad to be one who experienced that up close. God's Peace!
Fr. Steve
Mike and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers
My memory of Merle was of a wonderful gracious woman, faithful to her husband's needs throughout his illness. A caring person of great faith. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.
Please accept the condolences and prayers of the Diaconate Community of the Diocese of Belleville. Merle and her husband Deacon Art are blessed examples to us of faith in action, answering God's call, and living the Gospel daily. May she rest in God's eternal peace.
Thank you so much for allowing me to care for Merle in her last days. It was such a pleasure.
