I knew Mr. Mueller through his son Donny. I was a clogger with Donny. My sincere sympathy to the Mueller family.
After retirement Mel would volunteer at Aldi in Swansea to keep busy. They would let him have produce that was no longer acceptable for sale, but lots of it was still good. Since I lived near Aldi, Mel would swing by my house and give me first pick. If i wasn't home he would leave treats on my porch. When I would pull into my carport and see the bags I knew my produce angel had paid me a visit. He would also put the produce out on a table at the Church so members could take what they wanted on Sunday. This was just one example of ways that Mel would go out of his way to help others. I am so saddened to hear of his passing and my heart aches for Betty who lost her dear husband.
