Dear Barbara, Richard, and Brothers, Grace and Peace,
Your dear mother's obituary reads that Lois was "an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Centreville, IL." This holds true as well for your dad,
George while he was living. I was pleased to have met/known them the years I taught
at I.C. School, when Richard and Barbara were in the lower grades.
The thought I want to share with you at this comes from
an unknown author....a line I know by heart.
" When I see it raining in your heart,
Though I do not have an umbrella:
Let me walk in the rain beside you."
Know of my love, prayer, and care is
there for each of you as you carry on.
Lastly, much joy is in my heart that Lois was
an Lay Associate of my religious Community:
the Adorers of the Blood of Christ for several years.
Peace of the Risen Christ continue to be with us all,
Sister Carolyn Schilling, ASC ~~~St. Louis
I am sorry to hear about your mother's death. I taught at Immaculate Conception in Centerville, 5th and 7th grade. Your mother and dad were very active members of the church and school. They were such beautiful generous people. She was a good friend of S. Anastasia Rubernacker. They met, I am sure, when she died. May you be consoled and comforted by gracious memories. Sister Therese Anne Kiefer, ASC
