My condolences to Lillian's family. Lillian was a patient of mine at Southwestern Hearing. She always had a smile on her face when she came in and I enjoyed our conversations very much. Sending prayers to her family.
Lillian was the perfect aunt. She let me stay over at her house just about every Thanksgiving weekend when I was a little girl. She would take Sharon and I to downtown St. Louis to see Santa Claus! It was the most exciting weekend of the year! Of course we loved seeing Santa and we always got a toy from him but besides that, Lillian always made sure we had fun the entire weekend. Those weekends are some of my most fondest memories. As an adult, I loved talking to Lillian. She was a great story teller...and she told me stories my mom never shared! Lillian couldn't help but laugh the whole time she related her stories which made everyone else laugh. Her joy was infectious! I am sure my mom has given her the biggest hug up in heaven. That makes me happy for the two of them.
Lil was always an "up" person! Being in both her bunco and exercise groups, we had many good times, laughs, lunches and good memories! We all loved Lil so much! I, personally, will miss her very much and now she's in a much better place! Love you Lil! Margie
