Leland C. "Gummie" Gummersheimer's Obituary
Leland C. 'Gummie' Gummersheimer, 73 yrs., of Columbia, Illinois, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family following an extended illness. He was born in Columbia, Illinois, son of the late Emil and Olga (Kuni) Gummersheimer. He was a retired Operator at Casper-Stolle Quarry, Dupo, Illinois, had been a past bartender at local establishments, and loved working in the garage with his sons and their demolition cars. He was married to Sandy (Lindhorst) Gummersheimer, who survives him. They were married on August 7, 1965, at New Hanover, Illinois.
