Leland was such a great and fun loving person. He always kept an eye on me to make sure I didn't get into any trouble! I will always have a special place in my heart for him. I hope that knowing he is in a better place and not sick any more will give your family some peace.
Even though it has been some time since "Little Gummie" worked at Tiny's, I can still see his warm smile, and enthusiastic dancing to "In the Mood". I can imagine has already taken over up there and is serving his many friends and family that have been waiting his arrival. Just thinking of him brings a smile to my face.

To the Gummersheimer family,
Our deepest sympathies go out to all. It is going to be difficult not having the "husband, daddy, grandpa, uncle and friend" around, but just remember, he is under the Heavenly Father's wings, watching down upon you.
He will be your guardian angel, guarding you from evil. May he rest in peace. Amen and Amen.
The Egg Man.. I will always remember Leland as The Egg Man. Our families had many great memories down at Sugar Loaf.

Gummie was by far the best, friendliest, and most lovable bar tender that Tiny's will ever have. He remembered you if he saw you once or 100 times. He always had a smile on his face and was always there with a hug. He is a true angel in heaven! Cheers to you Gummie!
Gummie will certainly be missed. He was a special man who treated many of us like his own children. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and close friends.
