I have known Lavern since I was a little girl. He & Lucille used to go to dances on Saturday nights with my parents. My brother & I would go with our parents, & their children would come with them. We would all have a good time. Later on when I became the Activities Coordinator with the Modern Woodmen, Lavern was our President. He would keep us going & on track. A few years ago he decided to give up the Presidency, but he agreed to be our VP. We are so thankful to him, & Lucille for all that they did for organization. He will be sorely missed. RIP Lavern, & say "Hi" to my Dad for me. Will miss you a lot.
