Dear Mary and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing, hoping that she had a peaceful death, and did not have to suffer. I wanted to be there, but caring for grandchildren and an early Dr.'s appt., prevents me. Please know that I will keep you and your dear mother in my prayers. My Mother, Hilda (Frierdich) Schaefer, thought highly of Laurine, they lived down the road from each other, were born three months apart, and shared many memories. Mom enjoyed visiting with Laurine at the Legion Bingo's. I remember when you brought her to Millstadt's Quilt Bingo, and she enjoyed it very much, also the Columbia Sodality's card party.
