Richard Crudup
I was extremely shocked and saddened to hear that my good friend was called home to God so early. I send my deepest condolences to his family and pray that the promise of eternal life in Christ gives you all comfort in this difficult time. We became close friends during our time in Tech School at Sheppard AFB, TX and brothers during our four years of service together at Luke AFB, AZ.
We went through the best of times and even some bad times together, but Joe was always a light and full of good energy at all times. We were each other’s wingman, roommates, co-members of a rap group (short-lived and rightfully so lol), and most importantly of all, brothers in a strange new place as young black men finding our way in the world. I can still see that million dollar smile in mind’s eye and hear his voice right now.
Rest in love, Big Bro. Your memory and legacy lives on forever in the hearts of all of us that were blessed to have known you in this life.
