OBITUARY
John E Casey
John E. Casey, 83 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on February 21, 2022 in Columbia, Illinois. He was born February 7, 1939, in East Carondelet, Illinois to Roy and Mathilda (Henson) Casey.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. John was a member of the Columbia Sportsman Club, Bass Masters, and the National Wildlife Turkey Foundation. Not only did John love fishing, but he was also very good at it. John had won many fishing tournaments and was even in the Dupo Hunting & Fishing Hall of Fame.
Surviving is his wife, Jeanine Casey of Columbia, IL, sons; Johnny S. Casey and Ty Casey, daughter, Stephanie Casey, grandchildren, Ronnie Casey, Jessica Casey, Christopher Casey, Tate Casey and Johnny Casey III, great-grandchildren; Blazely, Ruby, Vera, Vada, and Corey, along with other relatives and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; James and Buster Casey and Juanita Casey and Juanita Heyer.
Visitation will be Monday, February 28th from 4-7PM at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Illinois. Services will be held Monday, February 28th at 7PM at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Illinois.
