She was born in Red Bud , IL, the daughter of Herbert and Mary (Winn) Krebel.Joan was a financial counselor with First Financial Bank, as well as Mercantile Bank, Columbia, IL. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, American Legion Post #581 Auxiliary, Columbia, IL , and an assistant pre school teacher for the Columbia Public Library. She was married to James E. Mueller, who survives her. They were married on February 14, 1969, at Columbia, IL.
