James V. Link's Obituary
James V. Link, 55 years of Waterloo, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO. He was born October 18, 1966, in St. Louis, MO.
Jim worked as a software engineer for the Federal Reserve. Jim loved riding his Harley Davidson. He was the life of the party, and he loved to karaoke, as well as gaming, dancing and cracking jokes. Some of the best memories of Jim were the times camping and boating with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy Link, nee Schaefer, his sons, Curtis Link, Aaron Link and Trevor Link, his sister, Sherrie (Rick) Wesner, his mother, Norma Link, his father, Mathew "Sonny" Link Jr., and he is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son in infancy, Sean Link, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Schaefer, his brother-in-law, Curtis Schaefer, his grandparents, Arlene & Robert Lincoln, Mathew Link Sr. and Judy Davis.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL, with a time of reflection beginning at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to American Cancer Society #5 Schiber Ct., Maryville, IL 62062 .
