Jim will truly be missed! I remember passing him in the halls; he was always smiling and greeting others. My prayers are with his family and co-workers at this time.

Jim, my buddy and college roommate, was a beloved family man and talented computer scientist. I admire his social skill and ability to grasp technical concepts quickly. In college Jim did not take notes during class lectures. He sat, listened and occasionally nodded in understanding. Then, he'd get excellent scores on the exams. What a gift. I am a better man for knowing Jim. I appreciate his help and friendship over the years. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tammy, their sons and his family.
Jim was a great guy, friend and coworker. He had an infectious smile and laugh and you always knew when he was in the room. He had a vast wealth of knowledge that will be difficult to replace. He was a teacher and mentor who always preferred working as a team over working by himself. We will miss him on our afternoon walks around the arch.
Jim was a loving person, always up for a good time, and treated people with respect. He and Tammy have passed on these wonderful traits to their 3 sons. Jims wonderful personality will continue in his sons’ lives and continue to bless them and the people they come in contact with.
Jim was blessed with a beautiful life and enjoyed it. He was a great role model for others, great husband, and father.
Jim and I first became friends when he attended Parks College of St. Louis University. He always had a great (and somewhat mischievous) sense of humor. He was very intelligent, and we both shared an interest in computers, gaming, and music. He was never competitive (I'm trying to say that with a straight face), and he was always fair-minded. Jim always wanted the people around him to have a good time, and he actively sought to maintain a jubilant and festive atmosphere. I was honored to be a groomsman at Jim and Tammy’s wedding. I am immensely saddened by Jim’s passing, and Ursula and I want to express our heartfelt sorrow for Tammy, Curtis, Aaron, and Trevor as well as Jim’s parents, his sister, and all his extended family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
