Irene Emma Helen Erna Stamm's Obituary
Irene Emma Helen Erna Stamm, nee Stellhorn , 95 years of Red Bud, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Oak Hill Care Center, Waterloo, IL. She was born October 15, 1927, in Horse Prairie, IL.
Irene had worked as the Secretary of Stamm Trucking for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church (Prairie) in Red Bud, IL., Sew & Grow and the quilters club at Trinity.
Surviving are her sons, Robert Stamm, Dennis (Deb) Stamm, & Marlin (Jeanne) Stamm, her daughter, Diane (Brian) Guebert, her daughter-in-law, Melodye Stamm, her grandchildren, Lisa (Brad) Glazebrook, Craig Stamm, Doug (Stephanie) Stamm, Dana (Greg) Hahn, Dirk (fiancee: Amanda) Stamm, Erin (Kurt) Stamm-Scholl, Ryan (Erin Michelle) Stamm, Jennifer (Matt) Birk, Hannah (John) Schultz, Rebecca (Fiance: Zach) Stamm, Evan (Kate) Guebert and Connor Guebert, her great grandchildren, Morgan, Trent, Carson, Brooke, Josie, Kelly, Nicholas, Nathan, Reagan, Grace and Olivia, her sisters, Bernice Salger, Lorna Schneider and Irma Birkner, her brother, Edward (May) Stellhorn Jr., along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Stamm, her son, Leland E. Stamm, her parents, Edward and Elma, nee Lucht, Stellhorn, her brothers, Arlin, Alfred and Gilbert Stellhorn, and her sister, Anita Salger.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL. and on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church (Prairie) in Red Bud, IL.
Services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church (Prairie) in Red Bud, IL, with Pastor Scott Hojnacki, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery (Prairie) Red Bud, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church - Portals or Prayer. Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud, IL.
