I grew up next door to the Stamm family and have many wonderful memories of Irene—she helped my dad teach me how to ride a bike out in our pasture; when I was little she often came to visit us when there was a storm (my mom said that was because Irene’s mom had been killed in an electrical storm and Irene didn’t like to be alone during storms); when I went over to play with the Stamm boys she was always so nice to me. She was a fine lady! My sympathy to her entire family.
