Howard A Rudder, 70 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on April 28, 2020 at Integrity Health Care of Columbia, Columbia, IL. He was born June 3, 1949, in St. Louis, MO. He was married to Debbie, nee Haselhorst, Rudder, who survives him. They were married April 28, 1984, in St. Louis, MO.
Howard was retired from Ameren - St. Louis, MO, where he had been a project estimator. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 1455, St. Louis, MO, and St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL.
Also surviving are his daughter, Barbara J (James) Faupel of St. Louis, MO; son, Charlie L (Elea) Rudder of Troy, IL; two granddaughters, Anne Faupel, and Evie Rudder; brother, Philip Rudder of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Clara (Sam) Chandler of Sequim, WA, and Eadie Rudder of Phoenix, AZ; , along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin L. and Una M., nee Radford, Rudder and sister-in-law, Robin Rudder.
Private graveside service will be held at Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery, Columbia, IL.
