Herman J. Bellm's Obituary
Herman J. Bellm, 88 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Muurphysboro, IL, the son of the late Herman and Etta (Phoenix) Bellm. Herman was an active member of the Columbia Gymnastic Association, American Legion Post #581, and Knights of Columbus Council #6165, Columbia, IL. He had served in the U.S. Navy and was a Veteran of WW II and also the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He had retired from the Monsanto Chemical Co., Sauget, IL. He was married to Kathryn (Soper) Bellm, who survives him. They were married on December 27, 1952, in Murphysboro, IL.
