Herman J. Bellm, 88 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Muurphysboro, IL, the son of the late Herman and Etta (Phoenix) Bellm. Herman was an active member of the Col Read Obituary
I am so sorry to hear of Herman's death. I had just met him for the first time at my sister's visitation. I had heard what a great man he was and am happy I did get to meet him. I express my deepest sorrow to his wife; Katherine and his children. Please take comfort in knowing he now rests in the Loving Arms of our Precious Savior. My thoughts and Prayers will be with you in the days and weeks ahead. God Bless the family as they mourn his death.

Our thoughts and prayers for peace are with the Bellm family. Herman will be missed by many. Always such an active guy - with his beautiful garden, and all of his volunteer work at Turners. Also always enjoyed seeing him out walking in the mornings for many years. He was always friendly and spoke to us when we would see him out. Hopefully good memories will lessen the pain and sadness you are feeling now.
