Mr. Manson was born in Murphysboro, IL, son of the late William H. and Ivo B. (McCoy) Manson. He was a retired electrician for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, and was a member of St. Paul U.C. of C., Columbia, IL, Gothic Lodge #852 AF & AM, Ainad Temple, Order of the Eastern Star - Rob Morris Chapter, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
