My sincerest condolences to Gary's family and the staff at Leesman Funeral Home; I was very saddened to hear about Gary's passing. Every time I encountered Gary he always had a smile on his face and had an upbeat and positive attitude. We'd share experiences or stories and always compared how busy we both were. He was just a good natured person who I feel made everyone a better person just by knowing him. 'Gonna miss you, Gary. God bless.

Gary was my cousin. My memories of Gary are as a young child at some Edwards family conclaves before his father, Cleo passed. Gary seemed shy but I always thought he was a very sweet kid. I don't remember seeing much of his family after that. I wish I had. I've read comments of others and it reminds me of the love for his father that was shown at his funeral. I know the family was amazed at the huge number of people who turned out.It was truly overwhelming . It sounds like Gary inherited his father's goodness and I know that Aunt Jane fostered that goodness. I was touched that Gary will be laid to rest next to Cleo. I knew Uncle Cleo and I know he's proud. I know I'm proud to say Gary was my cousin. Greg Wilburn

Gary was indeed a major, major part of the Dupo Community.... I enjoyed working with him in DuKare when I lived in Dupo.. His love of the town and its people stood out and will be something I will never forget..."Well done thou good and faithful servant!"
