Deloris J. Hood's Obituary
Deloris J. Hood, nee Phillips, 79 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at University Care Center, Edwardsville, IL. She was born February 19, 1941, in McClure, IL.
Deloris was a self employed hair dresser and a member of Trinity General Baptist Church in Dupo, IL.
Surviving are her daughters, Kathy (Doug) Kohlenberger, Vicky Thompson and Donna (Randy) Roth, her grandchildren, Chad (Gina) Thompson, Brad (Becky) Thompson, Scott Kohlenberger, Amy (Jason) Schollmeyer and Tyler Roth, her great grandchildren, Alex & Caleb Kohlenberger, Ryder & Brielle Schollmeyer, Aubrey, Gage, Keegan, Jersie & Charlotte Thompson, her brother, Paul Phillips, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Donald Hood, her parents, Tom and Elsie, nee Gearing, Phillips, her grandson, Dustin Thompson, her sisters, Mildred Randol, Lucille Phillips and Helen Dillon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, at First Baptist Church (620 Godin Ave.) Dupo, IL, Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, on Saturday January 9, 2021, at First Baptist Church, Dupo, IL., with Rev. Marvin Tucker, officiating. Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
