Darrell and I are distant cousins and I loved him dearly. He was one of the kindest most gentle man I have ever known. I can remember how hard he fought to have his brother Vernon's name put on the Viet Nam Wall in Washington and how good he was to his Mother while she was taking care of Vernon and how Darrell would go to help. He would tell me about his grandchildren and he was so proud of each one of them. I mostly enjoyed getting a Christmas Card from Darrell and Betty every year because he would catch me up on everything that was going on. I know God will welcome him with open arms when he gets to heaven. Spread your wings and fly Darrell. Till We Meet Again.
Your Cousin Jeanette
