Daphene Gloria Hoffmann's Obituary
Daphene Gloria Hoffmann, nee Hickerson 87 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on October 4, 2017 at her residence. She was born May 12, 1930, in Clay County, AR.
Daphene was a member Local 534 Meat Cutters Union, First Assembly of God Church in Cahokia, Ill., VFW Ladies Auxiliary Dupo/Cahokia and she was a Minister through the Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armin Hoffmann, her parents, Henry and Daisy Hickerson and her sister, Wanda Colgate;
Surviving are her two sons, Bruce (Theresa) Hoffmann of Columbia, Ill, and Randy (Gladys) Hoffmann of Iberia, MO; five granddaughters, Tressa Powell-Scott, Amanda Hoffmann, Angie McGarity, Josie Long and Tonya Frazier, her three grandsons, Kenny Powell, Quentin Hoffmann and Donnie Hoffmann, her sister, Betty Schranz of Millstadt, Ill., along with 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at Twin Rivers Worship Center (10575 Tesson Ferry Road) St. Louis, MO. 63123
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Twin Rivers Worship Center in St. Louis, MO.
Private family burial will be held in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to First Assembly of God Church .
