OBITUARY
Clinton Proffer
Clinton Proffer, 90 years of Dupo, Ill., born March 5, 1927, in Dupo, Ill. passed away on November 12, 2017 at his residence.
Clinton was retired as a supervisor from the Dupo Community School District 196 and he was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, Illinois
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Albert and Lily, nee McPheeters, Proffer and his brother, Vernon Proffer.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Irma Proffer, nee Guess, his two daughters, Penny (Joe) Madlinger and Linda (Mike) Wheatley, his son, Gregory (Jeannie) Proffer, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, his brother, Herman (Joan) Proffer, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017, 9:30 am - 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dupo, Ill.
Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dupo, Ill. with Fr. Linus Umoren, officiating.
Clinton gifted his body to St. Louis University Medical School.
