Prof was one great gentleman! He was my grade school basketball coach at Sared Heart Grade School in Dupo. As a 10 year Dupo Police Officer and eventually Chief, I worked closely with Prof when he was the Village Clerk and remained friends over the many years. My prayers are for Irma and his family, may he Rest In Peace.

Dear Irma and family, I'm so sorry that you lost you husband, father and grandfather. He was a nice man. You have my deepest sympathy and I will keep your family in my prayers.
Proff was a special person who I will always remember. We lived next door to Proff and Irma in the late 1950's. I was a teenager just heading off the college. Proff always wore an aftershave lotion that smelled so good --- one day I asked him what it was. He said it was Aqua Velva aftershave lotion. Too this day I have always used Aqua Velva and think of Proff often and how he affected my life. What a nice gentleman he was. He will be missed.

Prof taught me a phrase that I have always remember while playing cards one night at the American Legion. I had lost a big pot, one I was sure I had won, and he looked at me with that grin of his and said: "Doug, some times you get the bear, and sometimes the bear gets you." I will never forget that moment, and I will never forget my dear friend, Prof.
Truly share your loss, prayers sent to the family, Uncle prof was truly a thoughtful man I admired the way he spoiled aunt Irma, his legacy will live through his family. He will be missed by many.
