My fondest memory of Christine is from when she was in eight grade and I was in fourth grade at MCS, and we were attending a solo/ensemble contest. She performed a class A flute solo, "The Flight of the Bumble Bee", for which she received a first superior. I thought it was the best solo I had ever heard. I remember the Baltz girls being outstanding flutists.
