Jon, I am so very sorry for your loss, I wish I would have known Zach. By the pictures I see a good man who had many friends and a wonderful upbringing- it seems he was a "chip off his Dad's block". My heart is heavy for you and Kathy.
Zach was a sweet, bright, kind, and unassuming young man who our family was proud to know. Our son, Nick, and Zach were friends throughout high school. At the beginning of the pandemic, Zach (engineer) and our son, Nick (anesthetist) collaborated to design a ventilator to serve the people in their communities during the COVID crisis when there was an acute ventilator shortage. Our sympathy goes to all of Zach's family but a special hug goes to his mother, Carol, who was a mentor to me when we were both ICU nurses many years ago. Zach, we will always remember you and your kindness. Rest in peace.
