Wilma J. Wagner, 89 years of Red Bud, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, IL. She was born October 17, 1931, in Modoc, IL.
Wilma was a home maker. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL.
Surviving are her children, Todd (Brandy) Wagner, Kimberly (Michael) Moll, Deborah (Randall) Grohmann and Terri (Scott) Dilley all of Red Bud, IL., her grandchildren, Trace, Trenton and Tripp Wagner, Jacob (Nicole) Moll, Elizabeth (Tyson) Russell, Nicholas (Emily) Grohmann, Alex (Morgann) Grohmann, Megan (Erick) Thien, Claire Grohmann, Paige (Derek) Liefer, Mackenzie, Taylor and Addison Dilley, her great grandchildren, Miles, Corbin & Jonah Liefer, Blakelynn & Huxton Grohmann, Jettson, Demi & Cash Grohmann, Clarke Thien and 2 great grand babies on the way, her brother, Virgil Kempfer of Red Bud, IL., her sisters, Ina Doiron of Prairie du Rocher, IL., and Betty Deterding of Red Bud, IL., her sister-in-law, Shelba Kempfer of Modoc, IL., along with nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen G. Wagner, whom she married on May 5, 1961 in St. Louis, MO., her parents, Frank and Clara, nee DeRousse, Kempfer, her sister, Fern Nitzsche and her brother, Gary Kempfer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home, Red Bud, IL, and Friday, July 9, 2021, 10:00 am - 11:00 am, St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, IL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.on Friday, July 9, 2021 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, IL., with Rev. Mark Nebel officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Bud, IL.
