Dear Aunt Loretta:
You and Uncle Willis are always in our prayers and in our hearts. We always knew, growing up, that you supported our family in so many ways and we will never forget either of you for that. Some of my favorite memories of Christmases and Thanksgivings are of when you and Uncle Willis and Aunt Agnes would visit. I still remember Uncle Willis making sure to have an individual conversation and to say hello and goodbye to all eight of us personally, and that can't have been easy to do! He was a gentle person who will be missed very much, but God has him now.

We are so sorry for your loss. We regret that we were unable to be present at either the wake or the funeral liturgy. You and Willis have been in our daily prayers for many years. The suffering due to illness was a cross for both of you. We pray that God will grant Willis the Peace and Joy of His Kingdom. Wills was, first and foremost a man of God. He showed his grace in his faithfulness, his steadfastness, and his perseverence. Sometimes he had to be coaxed, but he was generous through and through with what God gave him. His gifts were many, and his patience was tried again and again by his long suffering. Throughout it all, his chosen life partner, Loretta, remained at his side in fidelity and support, giving all that she had. Willis left a legacy of respect as well as an endearing charm that he alone authored.

Wilis, pray for us in the next life as you prayed for us here! Thank you for bieng you, your presence has brightened our lives and shown us a path to God.
