William Virgil Dieckman's Obituary
Virgil was preceded by his parents, George and Ollie, nee Craig, Dieckman, and his brother-in-law, Lindell May. Virgil is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen Louise Dieckman, nee Carr. They were married on June 5, 1954, his son, Keith (Rose) Dieckman of Glen Carbon, Ill., his daughter, Kathi (Tony) Vaughn of Dupo, Ill., his son, Kevin (Chris) Dieckman of Dupo, Ill., his grandchildren, Nathaniel Stefanski, Joshua Stefanski, Christina (Nick) Keller, Amy (Jerry) Milan, Sara (Don) Goeglein, Jeff Meadows and Jessica (Louis) Cantu, his sisters, Opal May and Dori Wrye, and his brother, Wayne (Charlene) Dieckman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Virgil was a retired Teamster from Local 600, having driven for Bonifield Brothers in St. Louis, MO. With 35 years of service. He was a member of the Dupo Dairyland Coffee Club and Virgil enjoyed and loved his gardening. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
