William Kenneth Smith's Obituary
William Kenneth Smith, 82 of Dupo, Ill., born, May 14, 1933 in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
William was a retired engineer for the railroad.
William was preceded in death by his parents Elmer F. and Elizabeth (nee Stearns), Smith Sr., his brother in infancy Dean Smith, brothers, Elmer Smith, Jr., Charles Brewster, sister Dorothy Robertson.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Wilson, daughters, Kelly (Joe) Dabronski, Linda Smith, Tiana (Clyde) Leonard, Clea (Michael) McKinney, Mary Jackson, Becky Steitiye, Lisa Scott, sons, Michael Smith, David Smith. He was survived by other relatives & friends.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
Memorial visitation will be on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
At William’s request, he will be cremated.
Burial will be at the Ellis Grove City Cemetery in Ellis Grove, Ill. at a later date.
