William E. Mattingly Jr.'s Obituary
William E. Mattingly Jr., 54, of Cahokia, IL, born February 24, 1961 in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 at South County Nursing Home in Arnold, MO.
He worked as a mechanic for American Motors in Cahokia, Ill. He was a stock car builder and driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. & Mary Eileen, nee Rea, Mattingly Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Mattingly, nee Duncan, his son, William Mattingly III, his daughter, Melissa Mattingly, his step-daughter, Angel Ward, her grandchildren, Michael, Mason, Holly, Parker, & Ethan Mattingly, Mason Scott, Lee Klingensmith, & Logan Lutz, his sisters, Glenda Veath, Marlene Breeding & Mary McKee, his brother, Luther Mattingly. He is survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Jeremy Veath, officiating.
At Mr. Mattingly’s request, he will be cremated after the services.
