William M. "Mac" McMillion's Obituary
William M. "Mac" McMillion, 87, of Columbia, IL, passed away at his residence. He was born in Townley, MO, son of Peter and Myrtle (Garner) McMillion. He was married to Juanita (Sumpter) McMillion, who survives him. They were married April 15, 1944, in St. Louis, MO.
Mac retired from Monsanto Corp, Queenie Plant in 1985, after 40 years of service. He served with the U.S. Army, and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post #581 Columbia, IL, and Columbia Blue Lodge #474 A.F. & A.M. Columbia, IL
Mac's proudest achievement in life was his family, most especially the loving relationship he shared with his wife of 67 years Juanita. In his earlier life Mac was very involved in his son Greg's sports. After retirement he spent many enjoyable days sharing sports and other pastimes with his granddaughter Allison whom he cherished.
