William H. Guebert, 66 years of Red Bud , IL, passed away on September 28, 2021 at his residence in Red Bud , IL. He was born September 8, 1955 in Red Bud, IL
William was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL., where he had served on the Board of Trustees and Board of Education, he belonged to the Men's Club and the Boy Scouts.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Guebert, his son, Scott (Susan) Whelan, his grandson, Kane Whelan, his sister, Barbara (John) Foster, his brothers, Robert Guebert & Mark (Sharon) Guebert, his sister, Mary Hamilton, his sister-in-law, Marlene Berg, his brother-in-law, Glenn (Ann) Linnertz, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin & Nina Mae, nee Hanebutt, Guebert, his daughter, Karin Lynn Whelan and his brother, Daniel Guebert, his grandparents, Edwin and Anna Guebert & Harry and Lottie Hanebutt, his in law, Frank and Ardell Linnertz, his niece, Beth Guebert, his nephew, Tommy Herzog and his brother-in-law, Larry Berg..
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL. and on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
Services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL., with Rev. Mark Nebel and Rev. Russell Koen, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, IL.
