He was born in Columbia, IL, the son of the late William and Bertha (Menner) Frierdich. Mr Frierdich was retired from Robertson's Farm Supply, East St. Louis, IL. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL, Honorary Life Member of Knights of Columbus #6165 - George R. Kutterer Council, Columbia, IL, a 59 year member of American Legion Post #581 Columbia, IL, had served in the U.S. Army, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was married to the late Helen (McKinney) Frierdich. They were married on December 12, 1986, in Las Vegas, NV. She had passed away August 23, 2010.
