Wayne A. Ritter, 87, of Columbia, IL, passed away at the Missouri Veteran's Home, Warrensburg, MO. He was born in Columbia, IL, the son of the late Louis and Cora (Kremmel) Ritter. He was a lifetime telephone man and retired from civil service, where he had been a communications specialist. Memberships included lifetime VFW Post #7980 Millstadt, IL, lifetime American Legion Post #581, Columbia, IL, Monroe County Farm Bureau, and St. Paul Lutheran Church - Past Trustee. He served as an Army veteran of World War II. He was married to Juanita (Moore) Ritter, who survives him.
