We live in Texas and appreciate being able to view the services online. Elaine and Sue were treasures to their parents as well as my parents, and Wayne was always involved with his good guidance and faith. A wonderful smile reflected an interesting and involved man. We live in Texas but have seen them on trips back to Belleville, including a nice dinner in August. Wonderful memories and our condolences to the family. Wayne Muskopf was my hero at First National Bank in St. Louis/Centerre Bank. I went to him and stated that I was unhappy in my job. He asked me what I envisioned myself doing as a career. I said I pictured myself at a desk helping people. He said, "That sounds like Personal Banking!" They happened to have an opening in Personal Banking and the next day I had an interview. I got the job, which was the most interesting and long-lasting job I've ever had. Thank you, Wayne Muskopf. You are a beautiful soul! RIP!

What a joy it was to know Wayne. He had an infectious spirit and the true dedication of a faithful child of God. We pray God’s peace in Christ for Elaine and the rest of the family. Christ is Risen! Alleluia!
Where do we start! From being friends and coworkers at Zion to his seeking out Larry for employment at the bank to his example of Christian love and concern, there was no better example of Christian love than Wayne! We know he rejoices at Jesus side today and we look forward to rejoicing with him once again when we join him there too! God be with all the family in the meantime!

I remember when I first came to Zion how kind and generous that the Muskopfs were as I began my teaching career. Their love of the Lord was evident in both word and deed. When Kristi posted that Wayne had passed away, I took the time to say of prayer of thanks for the faithfulness and the memories. I also prayed that God would wrap his loving arms around you all as you mourn your husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. May God grant you his peace as you mourn, yet celebrate that Wayne has received the crown of life into eternity: just as Jesus promised.
