Wanda R. Shackelford's Obituary
Wanda R. Shackelford, 92 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on June 22, 2024 at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL. She was born April 21, 1932, in Parma, MO.
Wanda was proud of her family and admired their accomplishments in life. She loved gardening, sewing, and cooking, and was all about doing what her family needed.
Surviving are her children, Rodney (Renee) Shackelford of FL, Rick (Bonnie) Shackelford of Spring, TX, Trish (Joe) Cyvas of Columbia, IL, Kaye (Bill) Pretto of Columbia, IL, Christie (Bob) Newell of Imperial, MO, grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Earline Knight of St. Charles, MO, and Brenda (Richard) Pillars of Elsberry, MO; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Shackelford; parents, Ralph and Pauline, nee White, Ryon; sister, Erma Wells; four brothers, Howard Ryon, Davey Ryon, Tallis Ryon, and R.L. Ryon.
Burial of her cremated remains will take place at a later date in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
