Wanda J. Colgate's Obituary
Wanda J. Colgate-Hoffmann, nee Hickerson, 85 of New Concord, KY, born September 3, 1931 in Piggott, AR., passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY.
Wanda was a homemaker, she had a Master’s Degree in Education, taught at Belleville Area College and was one of the Founders of St. Clair Christian Academy in Dupo, Ill., and most recently a member of the Pentecostal Church in Dover, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Daisy Hickerson, nee Fagan and also her 1st husband, Warren Hoffmann, her 2nd husband, J.D. Curtis & her 3rd husband, George Colgate.
She is survived by her sons, Terry & Pam Hoffmann & Darrell & Angie Hoffmann, her grandchildren, Dwayne & Debra Hoffmann, Jason & Kristin Hoffmann, Mike & DeAnn Fross, her great grandchildren, Christopher Hoffmann, Larissa Hoffmann, Kayleigh Fross, Timmy Fross & Matthew Fross, her sisters, Daphene Hoffmann & Betty Schranz. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill., with Pastor Dan Batchelor & Pastor Jason Hoffmann, officiating.
Interment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
