Walter was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years: Elsie H. Werner, nee Weis, his parents: Ernst Alfred & Katherine Werner, nee Garlich, and three sister & two brothers. Walter is survived by his children: Ellen (Robert) Bandlelow of Woodburn, Oregon, Alfred (Pat) Werner of Marissa, IL., and Claudia (Ron) Trolard of Birmingham, AL., grandfather of 7, great grandfather of 13, great great grandfather of 3, he is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, IL.
