Mr. Fischer was preceded in death by his parents: John & Margaret Fischer. Mr. Fischer is survived by his daughter: Tracy (Joe) Kessler of Freeburg, IL., his son: Charles (Olivia) Fischer of Alton, IL., his grandchildren: Katie & Emily Kessler and Lucas Fischer, his brother: John (Gladys) Fischer of Columbia, IL., his sisters: Elvera Schuchert & Helen (Ralph) Mueller both of Columbia, IL., his beloved dog: Duke, also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends. Mr. Fischer was a WWII Army Veteran where he achieved the rank of Corporal. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or St. Clair County Humane Society.
