Walter F. Beil's Obituary
Walter F. Beil, 93 years of Millstadt, IL., born April 7, 1924 in St. Clair County, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Oak Hill in Waterloo, IL.
Walter was a member of the Zion Evangelical Church, where he had been active with the Church Brotherhood and Men's Fellowship. He owned and operated Charles Beil & Sons Trucking, was a 50 year member of the Columbia Blue Lodge #474 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Bodies in the Valley of Southern IL, Ainad Temple, Belleville High 12 Club & Belleville Elks Club.
Surviving are his daughter, Elizabeth Otto; his brothers, Ralph (Marilyn) Beil & Charles I. (Laureen) Beil; his grandson, Timothy (Laura) Rehling; his great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Alexis Rehling; sister-in-law, Ardelle Keller: along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice O. Beil, nee Keller, son, Alan R. Beil, his parents, Charles & Otillia, nee Bereitschaft, Beil, Sr., son-in-law, David Otto and brother-in-law Vernon Keller
Visitation will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL., and on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL.
Services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL., with Rev. Darrell Weber, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, IL.
