Virginia "Ginny" Mary Mueth's Obituary
Virginia "Ginny" Mueth, nee Frisch, 71 of Millstadt, IL. passed away September 15, 2022 in St. Clair county. She was born May 19, 1951 in Red Bud, IL to Arthur Leo Frisch and Darlene Frisch, nee Kennedy.
She is survived by her husband James "Jim" Mueth of Millstadt, mother Darlene Frisch of Columbia, IL, sister, Nancy (Jeff) Mueth of Hecker, IL, brothers, Bob Frisch of Columbia, IL, Art Frisch of Dupo, IL., and Joe (April) Frisch of Waterloo, IL., brother-in-law John Daniels of Troy, IL, sister-in-laws, Donna Mueth Huebner of Waterloo, IL and Janet Mueth Evans-Parker of Waterloo, IL. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Arthur Leo Frisch, sister Ellen Daniels and baby brother Donald Frisch.
She was a 1969 graduate of Cahokia High School. Ginny united in marriage to James Mueth on August 23, 1975 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Cahokia, IL.
Ginny was employed in the banking industry over forty years at Bank of St. Louis, Boatmen's Bank, Bank of America, and First National Bank of Waterloo from which she retired. Ginny worked after retirement at Ed Morse (Weir) Parts Center in Red Bud, IL.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL. Ginny enjoyed following the St. Louis Cardinals, the St. Louis Rams, her greatest joy was attending her nieces and nephews school and sporting events.
Ginny enjoyed reading, cooking for others, collecting Disney memorabilia and visiting Walt Disney World often.
Visitation will be Tuesday September 20, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. and Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Fr. Marvin Volk officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt, Illinois.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to the family choice. Leesman Funeral Home, Millstadt, IL, handled arrangements.
